| | that's right. after all of this ridiculous trouble, it seems that i'm actually going to march this summer.
not a permanent spot per se, but as the low brass alternate. that means i may or may not actually march in any given performance, and i'll be jumping instruments, so sometimes i'll play baritone, sometimes euphonium, and sometimes contra (the drum corps version of tuba). it's possible (but improbable) that another low brass player will drop out, in which case i would take over their permanent spot.
i'm flying to denver on saturday. in two days.
i just found all of this out today, by the way. i got a phone call at like 8pm.

tomorrow i'm going to try to stuff my day with the company of all my friends for a final time this summer (and some for the final time ever), and then get packed and get all my shopping done and whatnot. though i may leave some packing and shopping for saturday before i leave. if so, it won't be much.
if you can come make it out to any shows, i would love to see any and all of you. after our performance you can come to the bus area of whatever stadium we're at and hang out with me for a little. that's a great time to bring me food and other cool stuff that will make me happy lol. but don't feel obligated; i'd be happy just to see you!
anyway, as for xanga, i don't know whether i'll be able to update it at all while on tour. so i could be silent here until august. but you can text me at any time and i'll get back to you eventually. if for some reason you don't have my phone number and want it, hurry up and contact me about it some other way before saturday rolls around.
friends, i want to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for all the support and counsel that i have received from you. without these things from those of you who did give it, i never could have made it this far; and this far is not the end of it. it is only the beginning. who knows what will come of this. i'm going to miss all of you very much. don't forget about me while i'm gone! i'm coming back, after all...
man, finally... resolution.
