just a quick recap of the last few days. i'm still here because my parents decided that saturday was too soon for me to leave. so i'm leaving tomorrow (or today if you wanna be technical) in the evening.
friday i went to morning Mass, where i met up with viki and did some brief catching up and discussion about where exactly i was going. which was cool. then i had lunch with jessica, whom i had not seen in a rather long time. we got hamburgers and talked about all kinds of stuff.. college plans, career plans, Christianity, the works. that was high quality discussion. i had dinner with my family and got a lot of my tour shopping done, then hung out with angelica for a while.
yesterday i did more shopping and paperwork and whatnot, then went to red robin with kayla/marcel/jessicajin. i wasn't so sure how that group was gonna work out, but it was actually really really solid. afterwards i think i bought more stuff (i'm really tired and this weekend has basically just been a blur of shopping and hanging out), then i tried to scrape together the remainder of my friends to see them one last time. unfortunately our schedules just didn't line up, so nothing went down.
today, i faxed some paperwork to the blue knights office, went to Mass, hung around because plans fell through (which was unbelievably disappointing!), went to Mass again, went out to eat for father's day, and picked up the last few items on my list of stuff to take. so now i'm all packed up and everything.
thanks to all of you who took the time to see me; it's been one heck of a weekend.
thanks to everyone who tried but couldn't; i regret it solemnly, but do not treat it as the end. i shall return.
and a final expression of gratitude to all of you who have stood beside me through this long and confusing ordeal, encouraging me, believing in me, advising me. without you all i don't know where i would be. my sincerest thanks.
